Growing

Troy’s mother worked 3 jobs to provide as his father was serving a 15-year federal sentence. This resulted in Troy being raised by his grandmother, which was also the hang out of many of the neighborhood dope boys. Due to the Kingpin status of his father and his gifted athletic ability, Troy was always welcomed by the older hustlers. Troy played many sports growing up and always had a love for rapping. In high school he was the starting point guard for the varsity basketball team and helped lead them to a state title in 2004. He also received a scholarship to play in college, but was eventually kicked out for not going to class. While playing college basketball, Troy welcomed his oldest daughter into the world. The pressure to provide for his family at a young age pushed him towards the street life.
